The Government notify the removal of the restriction on gold, bullion and foreign coin from June 30. T-h-y und-rtaKC legislation, altering the legal tender value of the sovereign from filtcen lu ten rupees. Pending the alteration the Government will issue an ordinance demonetising the sovereign, but it will continue to be received at fifteen rupees for a period of 21 days.
