LEAGUE OF NATIONS. BRITAIN'S FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION. LONDON, June 15. The Premier stated that the British Government had contributed £23,000 to the funds of the League of Nations in the last financial year. The Government had no information in regard to the amount subscribed or guarantees by other nations. FOOD FOR GERMANY. REPORTED OFFER BY BRITAIN. BERLIN, June 16. (Received June 18, 12.20 a.m.) The Vossische Zeitung reports that Britain has agreed to deliver 9500 tons of wheal to Germany in return for cash. A further offer to supply more wheat was made conditional on Germany purchasing Australian mutton and baron for cash.
