This was an appeal from a ruling by the New South Wales Supreme Court which upheld a judgment in the Sydney District Court dismissing the claim of plaintiff, a seaman, for compensation for influenza contracted while working in an exposed place. The Court allowed the appeal, and directed that the order appealed from be set aside.
