Venizelos has arrived. It is understood that he is asking King Alexander’s consent to a republic. King Alexander is unlikely to have a personal objection, as he prefers the life of a private citizen with his oe-.mitul girl-wife to the cares of the crown. Kmg Alexander’s holhlny is flue to end on Sunday, and he is expected to give his decision before then.
