FARMERS’ UNION PROPOSALS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 10. The annual provincial conference of the North Canterbury Farmers’ Union passed the following resolutions:—“ That this conference recommend to the Dominion Conference the matter of comparative marketing of produce”; “that woolgrowers be paid for their wool bales on the same basis as farmers .for their comsacks, and that the draft on wool bo abolished.”
