Hamilton, M.P., in his opening remarks at the show, expressed Ids sympathy with the movement, urging the residents to support it heartily. lie alto congratulated the growers of the splendid root crops then on exhibit ion and emphasised the educative value of such a display of produce, cooking, preserve-', fruit, etc. In his concluding remarks V Hamilton predicted a great future for th Tuntaperc district surrounded as it was, In. said, by so many of Nature's best gifts.
