Utility' Poultry null’s current eomnrtitinn at Papanui, though weather conditions (hiring the past fortnight have been anything Hut favourable to egg production. Although ‘omc 231 birds from various parts of the dominion. as well as two pens from Victoria, are being siugl" pen tested hero. the Southland representatives' are maintaining a prominent position, leading honour - , to date being divided between R. R. Christie, Melbourne,
and S. H Beer, Riverton, with a score of 27 eggs each. In the three-bird single j>en test, the highest individual bird score is divided between S, L. Beer and T. E. Conway with 26 eggs each, whilst T. King, River;on, and it West, Christchurch, come next with 24 eggs each.
