PUBLICANS’ BOOTHS WITHIN THE DEFINITION. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, June 1. The Magistrate, Mr S. E. McCarthy, in a -eserved judgment held that premises or a ■lace where a conditional licensee is authored to sell liquor at an occasional gathering ire licensed premises within the meaning of the Licensing Act. The case arose out of > prohibited person being found in a licensed booth at Addington Trotting ground, and the police asked the Magistrate for a uling.
