THE SPEAKER’S RULING. LONDON, May 14. Mr W. Brace (Labour) president of the South Wales Women’s Federation, in the House of Commons to-night questioned the Speaker’s ruling, postponing the Women’s Franchise Bill, asking what redress members had, supposing such ruling wms wrong. The Speaker (Mr J. W. Lowther) replied; “None is my answer. The Speaker, like the Pope, is infallible.”
