BRUSSELS, May 24,

A telegram from Antwerp states that the new Olympic Stadium has been opened. It seats 27,500 and is an improved pattern of the Stockholm Stadium arid is perfect to the smallest details. It possesses a magnificent cinder track 433 yards long. Preliminary gymnastic festivals will be held before the commencement of the games and will include one in honour of the British Empire on July 10. THE AUSTRALIAN TEAM. FIXTURE AT DURBAN. CAPETOWN, May 24. The Australasian team has agreed to participate in the Olympic games at Durban, en route to England.
