Carranza has been captured at Apizaco, 85 miles from the capital. His safety has been guaranteed. General Obregon will enter to-day. The revolutionists have captured Tampico. Villa, the bandit leader, has thrown (Sown his arms and decided to allow his followers to join the revolution. Many United States warships have been despatched to the Mexican coast to protect Americans. VILLA REPUDIATED. NEW PROBLEM FOR WASHINGTON. (Reuter’s Telegrams.) NEW YORK, May 10. Advices from El Paso state that General Calles, the War Minister, has issued a declaration that Carranza will not be executed or assassinated. He said the purpose of the revolution was to establish a stable Government. American investors will feel it safe to send money to Mexico to develop its resources and build railways. Villa cannot and must not become cither a political or military factor. The State Department is confronted with the framing of a new Mexican policy in view of the overthrow of Carranza. For the present the United States will not accord recognition to any Mexican faction.

PUEBLA CAPTURED

NEW YORK, May 10. (Received May 11, 7.30 p.m.) El Paso advices state that General Aquilar son-in-law of Carranza, and General Murguia are reported to have been executed at Mexico City. Aquilar was killed by his own troops. Murguia is credited with a wholesale murder of leading revolutionaries last Thursday. The rebels have captured Puebla.
