UNIVERSITY AWARDS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 8. Senior Scholarships for 1919 are awarded as follows: — English: Marguerite Muriel Brand (Otago). French: William Parker Morrell (Otago). These two qualified for scholarships in Latin and History. Latin; Aline Guscott Davy (Otago). Mental and Moral Philosophy: Albert Paisley (Victoria College). Mathematics; John Earle Brodie (Victoria College). Physics; Henry Edward Dyer (Otago). Chemistry: Alexander Sira Hogg (Otago). Botany: Alfred William Page (Canterbury). Geology; Robert Faulks Landreth (Otago). The following additional scholarships for 1919 were awarded: —Mathematics: Hubert James Ryburn (Otago). Chemistry: Percival Oliver Veale (Auckland). Special War Scholarships were awarded. Mental and Moral Philosophy: John Aitkea Allen (Victoria College). Mathematics: Edwin Harry Driver (Auckland), John Tinline Scholarship; Marguerite Winifred Crookes (Auckland). Cook prize in Mathematics; Kate Leonard (Canterbury). Post-graduate Scholarship in Arts; Ivan L. G. Sutherland (Victoria College), who has just graduated with first-edaas honours in Philosophy. French Travelling Scholarship: C. Malthas, M.A. (Canterbury College). Free Passages: L. G. Waller and J. L. G. Sutherland (Victoria College) ; Beatrice A. Wilsott (Auckland) and A. B. Kilroy (Otago),
