Many new fiscal Bc&s, under which trading Heeaaea are doubled, stamp duties increased, the export tax on copra increased ten «h«Hing* per ton, and there is a similar increase of the sugar export tax. An income Tax Bill has been introduced under which a mmimtfm income of £IOOO pays a tax of five per cent., graduated to 3s fid ia the £. Insurance companies are taxed five per cent, on premium receipts, and shipping companies similarly on outward freights and passages- ■ ■
