Entries will bo received for the following Special Prizes, given by Wm. Johnstone, Esq. — Best Pen of three 2-tooth Cross-bred Ewes, adapted for hilly pastures— lst prise, £2 ; 2nd do, £1 ; 3rd do, 10s. Best Cross-bred Ram, any age, adapted for hilly pastures — Ist prize, £1 10s. Ueet one year-old Colt or Filly by QuicksilverSpecial prize, gold medal, value £5, given by Mr John M'Kenzie. The' following Special Prizes (the joint contribution of Mr David Waraock and the Association) will be given in the Ayrshire class : — 1. — Best 2 year old Bull — Ist prize, £2 ; 2nd do, £1 j 3rd do, honorary certificate -2. — Best pair 3 year old heifers— lst prize, £2 ; 2nd do, £1 ; 3rd do, honorary certificate 3.— Best 1 year old Heifer — Ist prize, £2 4 2nd do, £1 ; 3rd do, honorary certificate -4. — Best 3 Cows in milk or calf, bred by the exhibitor, and never out of "his possession. Open to all prize-takers — Ist prize, £2 ; 2nd do, £1 ; 3rd do, honorary certtficate. 5. — Best 5 Cows in calf or milk. Open to all prize-takers — Ist prize, £2; 2nd do, £1; 3rd do, honorary certificate. 6. — Gold medal, value £5, for the urimal showing the most breeding in the yard.
