A CORRECTION.
(to the bditob of thb times.) Sib, — In your report of the proceedings at the nomination for the election of Councillors, I am made to eny, "Ho admitted that it looked as if the northern part of the town had not received its fair Bhare," i.e., of the expenditure. What I stated was, that owing to the loss of the Engineer, and the Council having resolved to borrow money to assist them in carrying on improvements, considerable time was lost in the early part of the Beason. Several works which were let, the Council were unable to get completed bufore the beginning of winter, such as Spey street. — Yours, &c, Q-. Good willie. 21st July, 1873.
