THE DOG NUISANCE.
« (to tkb bditob op the times.) Sib, — In your journal of the 15th inst-i a correspondent, signing " Censor," olludeß in rather a humorous way to the dog nuisance, and, Mr Editor, it ie sorely time something was done, for in broad daylight, in walking the streets, I have had the, brutes run at me with open mouths, which, to a nervous person such as 1 am, is something dreadful. If a person koeps a savage dog, hsß he any right to let it loose, to the danger of some one being bitten ? When I go out at night, I am forced to carry some weapon, i( not I stand the chance of being laid hold of by these detestable brutes. Any person going up or down either side of Dee street, ia always coming in contact with these animals. Ido hope, sir, that the Town Council will put heavier taxes on tho do(2s, and that every savage brute will be tied up or muzzled. — Yours, &c, A Timid One.
