REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE OF OTAGO.
- — ♦ The following figures, taken from the official statements published in the Provincial Government Gazette, show the revenue and expenditure of Otago during the financial year ending on 31st March, 1873 :—
The Revenue thus exceeded the Expenditure during the year by £72,253 11s 6d, but as the Province began the year with a debit balance of £44,658 10s, the net balance in its favor at the end of tha year was £27,595 Is 6d.
