Hubby Scubuy. , RULES AND REGULATIONS. • The rules of the Winton Jockey Club will be > strictly enforced. > By the term " District" shall be meant all I horses hona fide the property of residents within ) a radius of 10 miles of the " Winton Race- » course." All such horses to have been owned I and trained within eucb district for a term of I three months prior to the 26th Decomber. The > stewards will have the power to reject the I entrance of any horse not considered qualified for ) the District Handicap. Thia will alao apply to the Farmers' Race. ) Three horses to enter or no race. > No person to enter or nominate a horse unless ) he be a subscriber of not less than £2 2s to the ) funds. Moreover, no person to enter or nominate f a horse not his bonafide property, unless the said I subscription of £2 2s be paid for the actual owner ) also, under forfeiture of any race such horae may ) win. > All protests must be made in writing, acoom- > panied with the sum of £2 2s, and lodged in the Secretary's hands within fifteen minutes after the I race is run.
