Auckland, Nov. 28. The Green Harp conspirators are reported to be at Levuka. Fox, an absconding debtor, was arrested on board the Nebraska on a Melbourne warrant. The Bishop of Auckland has returned from Norfolk Island, where he ordained three native ministers. The motion to place the police under Provincial control waa carried by a majority of one. "Wellington, Nov. 28. There was a great rush for Opera tickets to-day. Eight hundred natives met the Governor at Foxtun. The speeches of the natives were loyal and flattering to the Governor, who replied in suitable terms. J The occasion waa celebrated by a war dance. Colonel Fielding's dispute with the Provincial Government will probably be arranged on a basis of mutual con--1 cession, and an answer to the proposal received by cable in a week or two. TniARU, Nov. 28. At the adjourned inquest on the body of George Blackall, the medical examination discovered a bruise on the skull sufficient to stun, which must have been given immediately before or after death. The jury, after being locked up for some hours, returned a verdict of wilful murder against some person unknown. The Coroner objected to the verdict, but the jury were positive, and the verdict was ultimately accepted. Dunedin, Nov. 28. Mr Warden Beetham starts from Queenstown to find a better road to Martin's Bay. The Government strongly recommends Mrs Howard as assistant Immigration Agent. Her intention is to establish in London and other ports of embarkation, homes where emigrants should be cared for till the ship sailed. She also intends to deliver lectures.
