Bangitoto left Hob3on's Bay at 6 p.m. on the 14th, and passed Swan Island the following day at 8 p.m. ; on the night of the 16th experienced a heavy gale, veering from S.S.W. to S.S.E.,.with heavy rain and terrific sea, which lasted until the morning of the 18th j afterwards moderate N.E. winds, with fine weather ; passed the Solander at 12 30 p.m. on the 20th, aDd arrived in Bluff' Harbor at 6.30 p.m. the same day. The 8.8. Stora Bird left Port Chalmers at 5 p.m. on the 19th, and experienced fine weather on the passage. She landed a few packages of cargo here, and sailed for Birerton shortly thereafter.
