Martin & 00. report: — Our sale of •took held at tbo Junction on Wednesday last, .attracted a largo attendance of bajere, bat owing to the heavy fall of rain during the early part of the day, a number of cattle did not come to hand. We cold the 3to S years' old atore bullocks from the Riverton district at £4 5s ; steers, from 2. to 3 years, at £3 15s to 60s; J-bred Leicester ewes in the wool, and with lambs given in, at 27s each ; several saddle and light harness horses at from £8 to £15; pigt, from 6s 6d to 2*9. On the whole, we have to report a considerable improvement in the stock market, the yards being cleared of everything, and a larger supply would have met with ready sale at the above quotations.
