The Oarlists are becoming troublesome. Outbreaks have occurred ou tiie frontier. Troops have been despatched to the menaced points, and precautions have be'jn taken to prevent the insurgents from crossing over from France, or centralising in any considerable numbers. A band of Carlists had attacked the barracks in Salos de los Infant, in the province of Burg >s, where numbers of their friends were imprisoned. They succeeded in entering the building, and, atter releasing the prisoners, burned it to the ground. The Oaptain-General of Catalonia has been summoned to Madrid, accused of Socialist intrigues, and of corresponding with the supporters of Don Carlos. An express rrain has been thrown from the track i»n the Valencia aud Barcelona railway. The acei'le.it was caused by a landslip. The engine was turned over and demolished. The total number of victims by the disaster is unknown. Seven dead bodies have been recovered. Twenty -two passengers were injured, some fatally.
