The Emperor visits Ems and the Crown Prince Pottsdam. The Emperor , of Austria will visit Berlin in the autumn. Tt e struggle between Prince Bismarck and the Pope waxes fiercer. The former will recognise no ecclesiastical jurisdiction antagonistic to the civil authority. A new telegraphic line trom Berlin to London has been opened. The introduction of Imperial constitutions in Alsace and Lorraine has been postponed until 1874. Messrs Gilbert and John Scott's designs for the new Parliament Houses obtained the prize.
