T)ROFESSOR HENRI'S Day and Evening ± Classes for English and Modern Languages, also, Book-keeping and Drawing, have now been commenced at his residence, opposite the Cricket Ground. Along with an English commercial education, parents will be at liberty to choose one of the modern languages in which they may desiro to have their children instructed, at the same scale of fees. A Young Ladies' Seminary will be conducted by Mrs Henri, including (at 15s or 20s per quarter), Plain and Fancy Needlework, and Vocal Music. Scale of Fees— lss, 18s, and 20s per quarter. Instruction on the Pianoforte — Two guineas per quarter. Pupils admitted at any time, the month or quarter commencing from the date of entry. Professor Henri will be happy to have his Classes examined every six months by any gentleman of the profession, or any other educated person. The first examination for prizes will take place on the 23rd December. C. W. The objects of the Society shall be the raising of a Stock, or fund, to enable its members to purchase freehold properties, either in town or country, and also to enable persons possessed of landto erect buildings thereon, to grant loans on the security of freehold, and to afford a safe and profitable investment for savings. Payment of subscriptions may be made in advance, for which a discount at the rate of 2£ per cent, is allowed for periods of six months. Trustees— Thos. Watson, Esq., A. J. Elles, Esq., W. Wood, Esq.
