The Tararua. arrived at; Hokitika on the 14th inst. She brings tbe following items of Australian intelligence :-— Melbotjeite, Bth June. The Duffy Ministry have resigned. They asked for a dissolution, which .was refused. A new Ministry has been formed, with Mr Francis, Preuiier ; Mr Langton, Treasurer ; Mr Ramsay, Railways and Works ,* Mr Gillie 3, Lands ; Mr Mackay, Mines j Mr Coben, Customs ; Mr Stephens, Attorney- General ; Mr Kerferd, Solicitor-General. Mr Anderson will represent the Government in the Legislative Council. Wheat is at 6s 9d to 7s 2d. Flour is at £16 to £16 10s. New Zealand wbeat is at 6s 6d to 6s 7d. Oats are at 3s to 3s 2d. Arrived, Omeo and Ottawa, from Bluff. Sydney. The new Governor, Sir Hercules Robinson, has arrived. He was received with the usual honors. The rumor of the murder of tbe Rev. Mr Gordan, at Erromanga, has been confirmed. Adelaide. Mr Lewis, publisher of tbe Protestant Advocate, charged witb libelling c jftiss Woods, a Sister of Mercy, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, and a fine of £50. . . r , Wbeat is at 5s lOd.
