D. Macrorie, auctioneer, reports : — The fourth annual sale of fruit and forest trees in the yards was fully up to the standard of any preceding ones. Assorted fruits realised from Is 4d to 2s 5d ; hawthorn quicks, 25s to 26s per 1000 j pines, 9d to Is ; arborvitsß Is 2d ; other forest trees, from 6d to 2s 7d. I have placed 300 fat merino wethers under offer, deliverable in July, at 10s each. Invercargill, 3rd June, 1872.
