Times Office, Monday Evening. During the month there have been numerous enquiries for Adelaide flour, but stocks have been allowed to run very low, on the assumption that the produce of our local mills would meet all the requirements of I the bakers. But from the reports received it appears that an admixlure of Australian flour ia still generally regarded as desirable. A moderate supply, probably sufficient to meet the demand, is expected shortly to arrive. Yellow crystal BUgar is in demand at 465, and a fair business is being done in other descriptions. The market is veil' supplied with tea, prices ranging from 2s for ration sorts, to 3s for best. English stout is plentiful/ prices, according to the estimation in which particular brands are held, ranging upwards to 13s. Cornsacks are firm at 15s 6d, which however leaves but small margin for the importer. Spirits and wines are fully stocked. Kerosene is worth 3s in trade parcels. Sperm candles, best brand, command Is duty paid. Oats continue neglected at Is 6d to Is 8d ; wheat is readily saleable at 43 6d, 'and prime samples of malting barley are in good demand at 4s 6d to ss.
