Macrorie, Auctioneer, reports : — : The attendance on Wednesday, at Messrs Weaven & Co'a, was but meagre, being almost confined to the trade, and after offering about thirty lots, the bidding for which was not spirited, although final rates were satisfactory, in common justice to all concerned I postponed offering the . balance unsold till Saturday, there being some of the most valuable of the stock in trade yet to submit. I have also to report the sale of about 100 halfbred ewes full, but sound mouthed, at 10s 6i each. Invercargill, 2nd May, 1872.
