Per Omeo, for Melbourne — Mrs Stock, Miss Jones, and one in the steerage. Per Tararua, from Melbourne — Mr Saunders, Mr Neild, and 7 in the steerage. Per Tararua, for Dunedin — Mr Wood, Messrs Birtles, Mills, Harrison, Whifcfcaker, Mariow, Thomson, and Hawthorne. The Omeo left Hobson's Bay on the evening of the 17th ult., and experienced strong head winds to Hokitika, where she arrived at 8 a.m. on the 24th. Left again at 5.55 p.m., and arrived at Nelson early on the 26th. Left same day at midnight, and arrived at Wellington at £.30 am. on the 28th. Left again at 5.30 p.m., .and Arrived at Lyttelton at 4.45 p.m. on the :29th. Took in about 200 tons of cargo for Melbourne, and left at 5.45 p.m. on the 3 Lst, having experienced fine weather on the coast. Left Dnnedm at 4 p.m. on the 3rd November, and experienced strong winds, arriving at 11.15 p.m. on the 4th. , The M.A. &.N.Z. Co.'s s.s. Tararua arrived at the wharf at 7 p.m. on the sth inst. ; she left Hobson's Bay at 4 p.m. on the 31st ; on the 3rd, encountered a very heavy southerly gale, with high sea, during which she was obliged to be hove to for 11 hours ; during the latter part of the passage, strong winds and thick dirty weather was experienced. Her cargo for this port (30 tons), was discharged the same night, and she sailed at 4 a.m. the following morning for Dunedin and Northern Ports. j
