She left Melbourne on the 25th ulfc ; experienced strong TS. and N.W. gales during the early part of the passage, and the latter part strong N.W. gales with thick weather and rain. Passed Swan Inland on the 27th, and sighted the Solander at 7.30 a.m. on the 2nd inst. In consequence of the thick weather and northerly gales, she was obliged to run for Port William, where she anchored at 11 a.tn. bn the 2nd ; sailed at 5 a.m. on the sth, and arrived as above. She brings about 70 tons cargo for the Bluff, and the remainder for Riverton.
