MELBOURNE.

The Daily Telegraph of the 13th reports: — Flour is steady at £12 5s to £12 10s, and wheat is almost out of the market. In other cereals no change has taken place, and quotations remain the same. Wheat, 5s lOd ; oats, 3s 6d to3s9d; maize, 4s 6d; malting barley, 4s 7d. Sugars alone appear to be in good demand, and numerous soles have been completed at prices ehowing a very firm market, with an upward tendency. Beyond a very decided firmness on the part of holders of malt and hops, we notice no alteration in general merchandise. Pried fruits are in good inquiry, and a demand has existed for first-class wines, both ports, Bherries, and sparkling kinds meeting with favor.
