The Daily Times of the 18th reports : — In breadstuff's and grain an improving business has been done, and the market wears a very firm aspect; good wheats have been placed without difficulty at 4a 6d, and are in some cases held for better rates. Oats, which are moderately iv request for shipment, are quoted at an average of 2s 8d ; for very prime samples a higher figure is asked. Barley enquired for at last quotations, but no sales. A good current business has been done in flour at £11 10s to £12 during the last few days, the market closes firmly at the latter figure.-
