To see his wife and little ones '' Beside his oottage door! A sight to make his heart rejoice, His life forget its care ; ! AH ! God makes happy heart and home When He has entered there. To sit beside the winter lire, • With baby at his feet, To see his wife her knitting ply, And all things trim and neat j| While round he looks with smiling face, How sweet the thought must be, '•By God's help and an honest hand , - . . Tye wrought the goodl see!?* ?, Ohlhappy mother in your home, ; Made fi»ir by loring hands ; Oh ! happy fcther, touing stul For what each day demands. ■ Toil sweetens life, and he is poor ! [■ In all that makes the man Who sit§ with idle hands, nordoef The utmost that he can. The bee toils in its waxen oell,- ■> '• .
