; Copper is in only fair demand. - Chili bars sold at -667 per ton. Australian Tallow.— -A very large business has been transacted, and prices have fluctuated 2s per cwt. The abundant supply has flattened the market, but quotations are higher. . Mutton, 43s to 4_s ; beef, 42s 6d ' tV 43s 3d. Cocoanut Oil.— Market inactive. Sydney, 31s to 38s, nominal* Hides. — All offered were taken at extreme quotations. The sales comprise 3,952 hides. Present stock, 4,788. Australian Leather. — Very large quantities have been brought forward, and prices have lowered id to id per lb. Horns and bones are in fair demand. Mimosaßark.— -sales have been made, consisting of 550 tons. The prices are— Ground, good, £8 10s to £9 ; chopped, £9 to £9 7s Gd; South Sea whale oil, 35s to 38s.
