Government Advertisements NOTICE TO CLOTH MANUFACTURERS IN THE COLONY OF NEW ZEALAND. SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Inspector of Stores' Office, Wellington, up to 12 o'clock, noon, of the 20th May, 1870, for the supply of the undermentioned goods, to be manufactured in the ColoDy of New Zealand, quality and texture of material to- be the -same as per Bamples, which can be seen at the various Militia Offices throughout the Colony. Twenty-five per centage of the quantity ordered to be delivered to the Colonial Storekeeper, at Wellington, within eighteen months from the date of the tender being accepted ; the remainder to be delivered at the same' place and in similar quantities every six months until the contract is completed. 10,000 yards Blue Serge, *) Tender to state whether 2,000 yards White Flan- > single or double width, nel, for shirts j and at rate per yard. 2,000 Blankets, size 7ft 7 At blanket . 3m. x sft 3m. 3 Bonds, with two sufficient securities to be named, will have to be entered into. TT is hereby notified for public information that the Township of Gisborne, situate at Turanganui, Poverty Bay, on land purchased by Government for that purpose from the Nativeß, will be sold by auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Napier, on the 13th day of ApriL 1870. Also, on the same day, after the completion of sale of the Town, a number of Suburban Sections situate in the immediate neighborhood of the Township, varying in size from one acre to ten and a -half aores, will be offered for sale. A Schedule of the Town and Suburban Sections to be submitted for sale will be hereafter published. Plans of the Town and Suburban Land can be seen on application at the General Government Agent's Offices at Auckland and Napier, and at the office of the Secretary for Crown Lands, Wellington. J. D. TT being the intention of the Provincial Government to bring in a Diversion of Roads Ordinance at the next session of the Provincial Council, Settlers desirous of having alterations made in any of the existing road lines are required to communicate with the Chief Surveyor on or before the 31st of March next.
