The Oamaru Times of the Ist inst. reports : — "There is nothing new to report in the grain market, buyers being cautious, and not inclined to quote prices. Some fine samples are offering from the Papakaio district, but we have heard of »o sales being effected. Wheat in the Otepopo district is not turning, out well we regret to say, being of a poor qualify, and small yield. Buyers are offering Is 10d to 2s per bushel for new oats. We hear of no transactions in barley."
