No entries will be received for any ofthe Races except upon these conditions, that all claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or a majority of them, whose decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of the above programme, shall be final. Rules of late Sonthland Racing Club strictly adhered to. No person will be allowed to enter or run a horse unless the latter be qualified as the lona fide property of a subscriber of 3 boys. to the Race Fund. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross monies ptid in accordance with the Programme for expenses. All entries must be sealed and addressed to the Stewards or secretary (entrance money enclosed), with name, age, pedigree of the horse, name of the owner, and colors of the rider. Three horses to be entered, or no public money will be added. No Jockey allowed to ride except in the colors entered. Entries must be made to the Stewards, and addressed to the Prince of Wales Hotel, Invercargill, before the hour of eight o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the 22nd of February 1870. Handicaps will be declared the same night, except for Invercargill Handicap, which will be declared on the evening of Thursday, the 24th February 1870, at Polling's Hotel, Wallacefcown, at 8 p.m. All dogs found od the Course will be destroyed, irrespective of ownership.
