The Daily Times of the 11th reports : — Generally the transactions in the market to-day have been light. We note trade as remaining in an unusually listless state, and no enquiry except for Current parcels. Breadstuff's and grain continue most inanimate, with no buyers for shipment or for speculative purposes at present rates. By auction, teas have been placed to some extent. The Amoy portion of the cargo lately to hand, per Katarina Maria, being offered at Messrs M'Landress, Hepburn and Co.'s rooms, the principal lines, consist- | ing of medium to good medium congous, in halfchests and boxes, were placed at fair rates. No Other sales of any moment bare occured in the auction i mart. Mr John Brook, Manse-street, reports :— The value and demand for flour and wheat continue depressed, with little or no probability of improvement. Flour is variously quoted by the millers from £12 to £13 10s, The demand for oats is anything but brisk, with a downward tendency in value. Bran and pollard are lower. Potatoes are in demand at the quotation : — Flour, £12 to £13 10s per ton ; oatmeal, £21 do ; pearl barley, £28 do : wheat, 5s 3d per bushel ; oats, 3s 3d to 3s 6d do ; barley, 5s €d do ; -maize, 5s 6d do ; bran, £5 per ton ; pollard, £ 5 10s do ; hay, £6 do ; chaff, £4 10s do ; straw, £2 10s do ; potatoes, £3 5s do ; onions, £42 do ; carrots £3 do ; turnips, £3 11s do ; butter, 9d per ]b ; cheese, 9d do ; bacon and hams, 9d do ; bags, 14a per dozen.
