Messrs Wright, Stephenson, and Co. report for the week ending 13fch mat. as follows : — Fat cattle. — The market continues fully supplied ; we yarded one draft, 26 head of prime to inferior quality ; they averaged £9, equal to from 25s to 30s per lOOlba. We also sold prirafcelj, for delivery in town, 40 head prime quality, at 30s per lOOlbs. Quotations are : Middling beef, 25s to 27s Gd ; prime, 30s. Fat sheep. — None came to hand during the woek. We Bold for delivery 500 wethers at 3d, 500 ewes at 2id'and2£d per lb in wool ; also 300 half-breds, shorn, at 2^d per lb ; and quote prime mutton in wool 3d, sliorn 2d to 2£d per lb Fat lambs, 7s 6d to 8s each. Store Cattle. — We have no transactions to report : — Quotations : Bullocks 2 to 4 years old, £5 to £5 10s ; mixed lots, £4 10s. Store Sheep. — There are a few enquiries for good wethers. We have sold subject to approval, 5000 in two lots, at 6s 6d to 7s ; also, 1000 half-bred 2-tooth, at ?» 6d each ; these may be taken as current rates. Country salea. — At Oamaru, on the 12th, we sold fat cattle at £9 10s ; cows, £5 to £6 10s ; heifers, £3 to £3 10s. Horses. — There have been no sales by auction this week, and for prices refer to our last week's report.
