Sydney, November 11. The barque Euromedna, sugar-laden, from Batavia to Sydnej, has been wrecked on the Bamford Shoal. The vessel was insured. The Penang has arrived from California. She reports the markets there firm ; flour at from 4 to 6 dols. Commander Bingham, of H.MAS. Virago, has been suspended by the Admiralty. The Californian papers state* that the Pacific Mail Company have completed arrangements for a line of steamers to Australia, via Honolulu. In the Legislative Assem ly, last night, the Government, after a long debate, intimated that they would renew the Stamp Act and then dissolve Parliament. The Opposition have expressed their concurrence with this step. The weekly wool sales were held to-day, and the biddings were more active than they have been for some time past. Messrs Stubbs and Co. offered the cargo of teas, ex Melrose, by auction to-day, and sold nearly every lino at good rates. Maize is quoted at 4a. November 12. The Stamp Act has been passed through both Houses, and Parliament will be prorogued to-morrow and dissolved afterwards. There was a violent debate in the Assembly this afternoon. The Rev. Dr Lang delivered his farewell speech in the Legislative Assembly to-night, and general regret was expressed by the members who spoke on the subject at his retirement after so many years' useful service. Sales of Adelaide flour have been made at £15, and inferior Californian at £11'. November 13. The members of the Opposition dined together last night in the Assembly Refreshment Rooms. His Honor Judge Stephen has directed that the slave schooner Daphne be returned to her owners, as she is not a slaver. At the same time, Commodore Palmer was stated by the court to have been justified in seizing the vessel. Parliament was prorogued by proclamation to-day in the Gazette, and dissolution will be announced on Monday. The Government have interdicted the Oddfellows' lottery at Goulburn. November 15. Parliament, after a very stormy session, was dissolved to-day by proclamation. The Biba, which arrived yesterday from Batavia, brings 7500 baga sugar. The school teachers throughout the city have presented an address to Mr William Wilkins, secretary to the Education Board, on his departure for England. The address was accompanied by a purse of two hundred and fifty sovereigns. Dr Lang has published his farewell address to his constituents, in which he recommends Mr David Buchanan, a former member of the Assembly, as his successor. Mr Buchanan has just returned by the La Hogue, having completed his legal studies as a barrister. By the barque Norma, arrived from Fiji, we have intelligence of the arrival at Rewa of the "American war steamer Jamestown. -
