NEW SOUTH WALES.
The Parliament is again ia session, and a fierce strife between the new Government and the Opposition is going on. The Sydney telegram to the ' Argus,' of the 12th inst., says : — The debate now going on in the Parliament of New South Wales is of a . somewhat unusual character. On Tuesday night Mr Kobertson (the Premier) stated that the Government were not in possession of documents to show that a conspiracy had been entered into for the purpose of assassinating the Duke of Edinburgh. Last night Mr Parkes stated that he had the papers, which consisted - mainly-rofc-secret reports from the inspec-tor-general of police, and these he would
produce on Tuesday next. Mr Robertson, it appear?, then, hinted that criminal proceedings might be taken against Mr Parkes for removing papers from a Government office.
