The JP.N.Z. and A.B.M. Company's s.s. Airedale, Capt Kennedy, left Fort Chalmers at 4 p.m. on the 26th inst; had fine weather down the coast, and arrived alongside the Bluff wharf at 9 a.m. 27th. Landed the Panama mails and 27 -passengers and discharged about 35 tons cargo and Bailed same day at 4 p.m. for Hokitika. The Bs. Gothenburg, Captain Underwood, left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on 25th inst j passed Port Phillip Heads, at 6 a.m. and Cape Schanck at 8 a.m. same night, and Swan Island at 5 p.m. on 26th. Experienced moderate westerly and IT. W. winds during the passage, passed S. W. Cape at 7 a.m. on 30th; and entered Bluff Harbour 6.30 same day.
