ARRIVAL OF THE KAIKOURA AT WELLINGTON WITH THE ENGLISH MAILS VIA PANAMA.
— __ *, (From the « Daily Times," April 22nd.) The arrival of the s.s. Kaikoura from Panama, with the English Mail, is telegraphed. The Kaikoura left Panama at 7.30 p.m. on the 24th March; arrived at Opara on 10th April ; took coal, and arrived at Wellington on the 21st April, at 1.30 p.m. Experienced fine weather throughout the voyage. No remarkable event occurred. Latest intelligence from New York up to March 11th, and London to March 10th. Passengers. — For Napier — E. Spencer. For Canterbury — Mr and Mrs A "Warren, H. Maude, H. D. Frye, Mr and Mrs Fownes and servant. For Otago— Mrs Sutherland, four children, and servant. For Melbourne— Mr and Mrs Smith, Mr T. 8. Smith, Mr and Mra Stark. For Sydney— Mr and Mrs Elliott, Capt. Lyon.
