(to the kdiiob or the southland times.) Sib, — I was glad to notice in a late issue that the subject of penny readings has been ventilated. The coming winter evenings would be pleasingly passed by such entertainments. I believe they have passed off with great success at the Bluff. It only wants a committee to be formed to make the affair a success. — Tours, &c, sth March, 1868.
