One in the steerage for WeUington j four in steerage for Sydney.
The s.s. Tararua left Sandridge on the evening of the 27th ult., at 5.15 p.m. ; off Queenscliff at 7.80 ; cleared the heads at 8 ; passed the Schank at 10.15 ; made Swan Island on the 28th at 11 p.m. j passed the Solanders at 11 a.m. on the Ist Eeb., and finally arrived at the Bluff at 5 p.m. same day. Experienced strong gales to the Swan ; hence to within a day's sail of the golandera,-E.N.E. -weather vrilh heavy sea ; oince, fine and favorahle. The Tararua brings a good general freight for Southland, with a number of passengers. The first lot of wool for shipment per Robert Henderson, for London, arrived at the .Bluff per train on Friday last. . Two ships were signalized on Saturday morning, and passed through the "Straits, bound eastward, without giving their number. Ihe barque Anna has finished discharging, and ia now taking in ballast. She will be ready to proceed to sea without delay, bound for Newcastle, N.S.W.
