By the arrival of the Eangitoto, we are placed in possession of later Australian files. The Argus of the 16th inst contains the following commercial article : — In the import markets to-day, trade generally has not been marked by much activity. Wheat is higher .like wise, 6s 6d to 63 9d being asked. Colonial oats have found buyers at up to 3s 8d- Maize is advancing ; holders ask 3s 4d to 3s 6d. A parcel of corneaeia was quitted at 13s, pending the arrival of the mail. "Holders of prepared opium have been enabled to obtain 24s 6d froai' needy buyers, who have been obliged to purchase.
