December 13, 10.21 a.m. A leakage through the embankment of the Reservoir has commenced. A possibility of its becoming dangerous, but no probability. May have to empty. Not interfere with the supply from the creek. Captain Fraser and H. E. Julius proceed to Melbourne to-day, as a commission to invite the Duke to visit Otago. A. Carrick also goes as a delegate from the City Corporation.
