THE HOSPITAL.
The Provincial Hospital, through some cause or other, is not popular. It is at present under the control of the G-overn-ment, but during the past month the Executive have signified their willingness to hand it over to them as soon as a sufficient sum of money is raised towards its support in addition to the G-o---vernment^ contributions. Meetings have been held with this object in view, and a committee appointed. Prom the interest manifested, this establishment is likely to be transferred to the control of the public.
