♦ The schooner Anne arrived from Moeraki with a cargo of wool yesterday forenoon ; her cargo was transhipped to the WUUam Davie. Captain RusseU, of the Annie, informs us that the new schooner Prince Consort capsized at Timaru on Thursday last, and became a total wreck — aU hands saved. AU the the surf boats, with the exception of one, have been broken up at Timaru. One of the Oamaru boats swamped on Thursday last, and one of the crew was drowned. At Moeraki, the schooner Clarendon has gone on shore and is abandoned. The Anne brought on the crew's clothing ; and the captain was expected to arrive in town last night, he having started overland previous to the Anne's sailing. — Daily Times, 26th December.
