POSTAL NOTICE.
On and after January Ist, 1867 the following rates of postage will be chareed on all letters and newspapers posted in New Zealand, for delivery within the Colony : — No. 1. Town Letters. Posted at any Post-office, within the colony for delivery at or from such Post-office : — Not exceeding 1 an oz Id. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz. ... ... ... 2d. For every oz., or fraction of on oz. overloz. .. .-. ... 2d. No. 2. Country Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the oolony for delivery at or from any other Post-office within the same Province : — • Not exceeding $an oz ... ... 2d. Exceeding ■£ an oz., but not exceeding 1 oz 4d. For every oz., or fraction of an oz. overloz. 4dNo 3. Interprovincial Letters. Posted at any Post-office within the colony, for delivery at or from any Post-office in any other Province within the colony : — Not exceeding ian oz. ... ... 3d. Exceeding £ an oz., but not exceeding loz. ... ... ... ••• 6d. For every oz. or fraction of an oz. over 1 oz. 6d. On all Newspapers posted within the colony for delivery within the colony, One Penny each.
